Apple Versus Pear Shape and Health

Earlier this month, we took a look at diets and diet books, and one of the concepts that came up a long time ago is the apple shape versus the pear-shaped body. Studies have clearly shown that women with the Apple shape, and that is what we call truckle obesity, more weight around the belly, these women are at greater risk for heart problems than people with the pear shape. Now, that doesn’t mean it’s a 100%, but it certainly can serve as a warning. One, that you want to try to get that weight down, and two, that you should have a healthy life if that is your natural build.
