Can’t Afford Medications?

One of the big problems I’m seeing happening more and more is that I have patients skipping medications because of cash. It’s the sad truth. They don’t have the money to pay for the medications, and as a result, they tend to take them less often. They tend to skip them. They try to safe it to buy something else. Part of the problem is our Medicare system right now trying to ramp up the way that drugs are distributed. It’s getting better, but that’s still a problem. What you need to do is if you can’t get medication, talk to your doctor. Try to work as a partnership. There are plans that can help.Image
